Gran Turismo 7 officially retired

Gran Turismo 7
Ahead of last night’s State of Play, of which we have listed all the trailers in a long summary paper, Sony Interactive Entertainment mentioned joining the world community to call for peace in Ukraine. On this subject, we already knew that the Japanese firm had given its support: last week, it had sent a press release indicating a donation of two million dollars to various associations in Ukraine while collecting donations from employees wishing to mobilize through its various subsidiaries. Transparent gestures which were accompanied by strange actions since a few hours before its release, scheduled for March 04, it is Gran Turismo 7 which sees its release postponed to an unknown date on the PlayStation Store. It was last night that Sony decided to clarify things via a press release:
Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) joins the global community in calling for peace in Ukraine. We have suspended all game and hardware shipments, as well as the launch of Gran Turismo 7 and closed the PlayStation Store in Russia.

In the process, it is the Bungie studio which speaks on the conflictual situation between Russia and Ukraine. It aligns itself with Sony, which recently became its parent company following its takeover in January, and expresses its support for the people of Ukraine and all those affected by the current crisis. After donating $120,000 to Voices of Children, Direct Relief and IRC, the studio decides to sanction Russia and Belarus. In a message published on their site and official, Bungie indicates:
Starting today, we will be working with our partners to suspend all sales of Destiny 2 and its trade in Russia and Belarus.

Connyashnik emblem
However, Bungie specifies that players residing in the countries mentioned will still download, play and access previously purchased content on Destiny 2 but that it will now be impossible to purchase Silver or new content. Related to this, Bungie is also introducing the emblem Connyashnik which will allow players who wish to do so to show their support for the Ukrainians and the victims of this crisis.
