DR – Engineering Museum of Angers

The exhibition “Military engineering, quite a game” which will highlight the history of engineering opens on June 22.

This exhibition aims to present the historical missions of military engineering. Three historical scenes will be recreated in a fun way with Playmobil figurines: the art of the siege, the crossing, new military technologies (telegraphy, ballooning and the railway).

The inauguration of the exhibition will take place on Tuesday, June 21 in the presence of General Jean-Philippe Crach, commander of the School of Engineering, and civil and military authorities, as well as the brass band of the 6th Engineer Regiment.

The temporary exhibition is free and will be open to the public from June 22, 2022 until April 30, 2023, Tuesday to Friday from 1:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
