A fourth edition which took place under the sun, which made it possible to involve the greatest number of young people in the proposals of the associations that came to animate the day.

The Adapted Sports Festival is in its fourth edition and the success is still there for the organizers and the participants, delighted to try new sports activities thanks to the active partnership between different actors as confirmed by Amaury Aguado from CDSA 65: “The event organized by CDSA 65 in collaboration with the center offered 23 activities on the site and 5 outdoor physical activities such as paddleboarding, kayaking, horseback riding, mountain biking and hiking for the most part supervised by partner clubs and affiliates of the committee. There are approximately 350 athletes from more than 25 medico-social establishments in the department”.

It is also a way of showing that everyone can find the activity that suits them and that many associations are positioning themselves to offer those who do not always have the opportunity to do so, to practice a sporting activity: “It is The idea is to introduce sports to which this particular public can also have access and, why not, then promote practice in a club or association.

The sports component was accompanied by the relaxation component, reunions between specialized establishments and moments of sharing: “The day was punctuated by moments of conviviality, especially during the meal and the flash mob prepared for the occasion in addition to the activities”.

A successful day that everyone, participants and supervisors already want to renew, with the opening to new associations wishing to join the movement.

The opportunity also for the organizers to thank those who made this moment possible: “The committee thanks the partners of the event, the volunteers, the athletes, the supervisors and especially the Jean-Marie Larrieu center.
