Famous boxer died defending Ukraine from invaders

The Russian occupiers took the life of another athlete who stood up to defend his homeland.
Another loss for Ukrainian sports. Boxing champion of Ukraine Oleg Prudkiy died in the war with Russian invaders. This was reported in the Boxing Federation of Ukraine.

It should be noted that Oleg Prudkiy boxed in the weight category up to 60 kg, was a two-time champion of Ukraine and a master of sports of international class. He played in the team of Ukrainian chieftains.

“We are sad to inform you that the world-class boxing master of sports, the champion of Ukraine Oleg Prudky died in battles with the Russian occupiers. The Boxing Federation of Ukraine expresses its condolences to the boxer’s family! Eternal memory to you, Oleg,” the message says.
