Press release of June 9, 2022
We have come to the end of the season. It is a huge relief, and a great joy to have finally been able to experience a full season, after two seasons ruined by the pandemic.
The championships ended last weekend, and we will live the epilogue of the Burgundy-Franche-Comté Cups this Saturday in Montceau, and next Tuesday for Futsal in Besançon. There will remain the accession play-off matches in D2 for our two women’s teams of St-Vit and Stade Auxerre to whom we wish full success, even if it will be difficult for St-Vit with 4 goals to go up. It will remain for us to finalize the classifications to validate the accessions and the demotions, and of course to give the rewards concerning the championships, the regional cups and the Challenge of the Sportsmanship MDS. These discounts will take place during the Evening of the Stars Friday 1er next July from 6:30 p.m. at the Gaston Gérard stadium in Dijon. This will be the first Star Party since 2019!
Our two qualified teams for the national phase of the Festival Foot U13 Pitchwhich took place last weekend in Capbreton, performed well, with a fine 5th place for the boys of the ASPTT Dijon (including a 1time place for the quiz), and a 7th place for the girls of FC Sochaux Montbéliard. In terms of videos, the FCSM wins the 1time place and the ASPTT Dijon the 2th. Finally, for the supporters’ challenge, Sochaux finished 3th. Sincere congratulations to these two clubs for these results.
You will also see on our site and our Newsletter n°226 the very good results from our federal referees following the publication of the rankings by the FFF. Congratulations to all with a special satisfaction for Antoine VALNET and Quentin GUIDOU who will officiate next season in Ligue 2, as well as to Ombeline LECOEUCHE and Maxim PLAT who arrive in the senior federal staff.
The season is ending, and so a new one will begin. With of course the new licensing campaign for all football players, players, leaders, educators and referees. You saw it on the site and through emails to clubs, this campaign started yesterday, Wednesday June 8th. The FFF is organizing a webinar for clubs this Thursday at 6 p.m. to present the new features.
At the level of our League, this campaign will take a new form. First of all, the license request will be made in a dematerialized way for the players, managers and volunteers, whether it is a renewal or a new license. No more printing and waste of time for club secretaries in collecting documents, scanning, less back and forth with licensees. The licensee’s data is automatically filled in.
For educators, we also advise you to use the dematerialized application. Finally, concerning referees, and club change licenses, the license request remains traditional.
Another novelty, due to the transfer of all of our services to Dijon, therefore the closure at the end of June of our two branches in Montbéliard and Montchanin, and the structural reorganization that will take place during this off-season, we did not want take no risks and ensure maximum satisfactory service for the clubs. The Normandy League, which I thank very much, has agreed to help us, and we have therefore entrusted it with the management of the registration and validation of part of the licenses: all renewals and new licenses for players, managers, volunteers and educators. We only manage referee licenses and club change licenses directly.
A particular device for this license campaign, but which will avoid us any risk in this transitional period.
I would like to end with congratulations on two trophies won within the framework of the School Football by establishments of our League.
First of all the Joseph Fourier high school in Auxerre which is for 3th times (in 3 participations) national winner of the Quinzaine du Foot in the high school category. Congratulations for this success and for the project carried out. This was based on the recycling of sports waste to give it a new life and a chance to join the fields, in association with two primary schools.
Another great reward for Abergement Ste-Colombe school which won the “Foot à l’Ecole” operation at national level with a game called “L’ECOLO’Foot”. A big congratulations there too, and congratulations for this beautiful sporting and cultural project.
As a reward, a delegation from the sports sections (boys, girls and referees) of the Fourier high school and the CM1 CM2 class of the Abergement Ste-Colombe school will be welcomed at the National Football Center in Clairefontaine from June 26 to 27 and will have the privilege of sharing “24 hours with the Blues”. A great reward and an exceptional result for our territory of which we can be very proud.
Finally, don’t forget the great day around the diversified practices that we are organizing in Meursault on Saturday June 25 with the Master Golf Football and Open Futnet which will close this 2021-2022 season.
long live football
Well sportingly
